My Handsewn One of a Kind Primitive Pear Bowl Fillers!  I do not use a pattern for my Pears and each is aged, stained and totally handsewn by me out of my home in Alabama.  I individually design and create them with lots of time and attention to detail. 

I do not use a sewing machine (don't know how to use one) :-) and each is hand stitched by me.  The pears are anywhere from 3 & 1/2 to 5 inches in height (excluding the stems which are found sticks from around my home) and about 3 to 4 inches in width.  I do stain these in a coffee and vanilla solution to add a prim grungy and aged look but they are not painted.  After staining I do "sun bake" them in the beautiful Alabama sunshine for about 1 day turning regularly to make sure the stain runs and makes each pear different from the others.

Beautiful added to an old enamelware or wood bowl and placed on a shelf or in the corner of a old pie safe!  A beautiful long lasting prim addition to home decor!
